Синиот хоризонт на Гренланд

Фотографер ги доловува грандиозните и воодушевувачките ледени брегови, големи  колку 15-катници,  извајани во текот на сторици години.
Во мирните води на Гренланд, гигантски ледени брегови надвисуваат се околу себе. Во текот на стотици години, овие огромни нешта прераснале во свој уникатен облик и големина.

Природната убавина на овие санти мраз, некои со големина на 15-катна зграда, биле сликани од страна на американскиот фотографер Мајк Ј. Кевин (49) на тридневната експедиција во Scoresby Sund, Eastern Greenland. „Ништо не ве подготвува за обемот на ова место и за големината на мразот“, вели Мајкл.

Stunning: The icebergs have grown into unique shapes and sizes and some are as tall as a 15-storey building above the surface of the water

Photographer Michael Quinn, of Fort Collins, Colorado said: 'Nothing prepares you for the scale of this place and the scale of the ice'

Picturesque: Mr Quinn spent three days travelling through a narrow, high-walled and submerged glacial valley known as the Scoresby Sund fjord system

Contemplating their formation, Mr Quinn said: 'Thousands of years have passed since the first snow flake fell and they have been on this extended journey over mountains and valleys'

Privileged: Mr Quinn says he 'gets to photograph them at the end of their lives, when they are set free to travel the world's oceans'

Beautiful: Mr Quinn said he had his first experience of glaciers and icebergs during a trip to Iceland in 2010

Mesmerising: Mr Quinn hopes his images will inspire other people to contemplate their own adventures 'however small or large'

Sharing his experiences: When Mr Quinn tells the story of his travels and show the images, he says 'people walk away feeling like they went on the journey with me'

Mr Quinn says: ' I feel so insignificant and small when in among the icebergs and that my time on this planet is so limited compared to their journey'
